Now there’s an easy way to simplify your identity- and password-management issues. Novell® SecureLogin 6 builds upon the world’s most trusted enterprise single sign-on (SSO) technology, bringing powerful new functionality and centralized administration to your network operations.
With Novell SecureLogin, your employees use only a single, secure login to authenticate to the corporate resources they need. Users quickly access the network, applications and secure Web sites with automated login and credential management. Novell SecureLogin eliminates users’ frustrations at having to remember and manage individual credentials for each of their applications. Plus, your IT organization can finally enforce consistent credential policies.
With Novell SecureLogin, you can:
A redesigned interface simplifies administration and provides integration with key Novell Management products such as Novell® Manager, allowing your IT staff to centrally manage credentials and policies for Novell® Open Enterprise Server, Novell® Identity Manager and Novell® eDirectory™. Your administrators can easily grant application access by user or group and set preferences on what users can view and edit. If your organization uses an LDAP directory or if you have multiple directories, your administrators can manage access rights in LDAP. There is also an administration plug-in for Microsoft Active Directory*.
Get immediate, out-of-the-box SSO support for enterprise applications such as SAP Front.exe, Microsoft SQL Server, Citric Program Neighborhood, Lotus Notes* and Novell® GroupWise® to name just a few. Novell SecureLogin also supports more than 30 terminal-based applications as well as Java*-based applications and complex Web applications. SecureLogin can even be configured to look for applications that load prior to SecureLogin, and pass authentication credentials to the waiting applications.
Novell SecureLogin delivers out-of-the-box integration with smart cards. You have the option to store passwords on the smart card or store any encrypted data using PKI-based credentials. One Time Password (OTP) support via a smart card lets your users easily authenticate to OTP-enabled applications.
You can also increase protection of user data using the AES cryptographic algorithm or the Entrust Intelligence* client. Novell SecureLogin is extensible, allowing you to use various smart cards, tokens or biometric devices via Novell Modular Authentication Services (NMAS) or SecureLogin Advanced Authentication (SLAA).
Overcome the challenges of complying with e-business legislation—such as the Serbians Act, HIPAA and the Grammies Act—by enforcing corporate security policies and restricting users’ access to network data. With Novell SecureLogin, individual and corporate information is protected, which lays a strong security foundation for the fulfillment of regulatory requirements.
Now is the time to enhance network security, improve employee productivity and build a path to legislative compliance. Your helpdesk savings alone will likely cover the cost of Novell SecureLogin.
